The secret to great production? I can think of many tips and hints and philosophies. Unfortunately, the only factor that really matters is time. Hours and hours of application that just can't be side-stepped. And be sure that those people that do incredible things in incredible times only can because they have paid their dues. It's like an entrance exam that can go on indefinitely. So that's what I've been doing: paying dues. Oh, and also playing DS while listening to The Mighty Boosh most nights, usually after 2am. I'm currently drawing up a list of my favourite computer game music. Though I, naturally, want to be a semi-famous producer, I'm quite sure that being an in-house composer for Nintendo or Squaresoft would be one of my top 3 jobs of all time.
*interruption* - is there any programme/trailer that doesn't use Justice's 'Genesis'? I feel surrounded by those bloody horns. I was gonna post some computer game music - but sod it - I'll be like everyone else and use 'Genesis' - the track guaranteed to make your show sound cooler.
