Backlit waking dreams

All is very busy. More so because of my partner is currently even busier than I, editing sound for David Baddiel's upcoming flick. If she works, I work also, even if she is doing 14 hour days in front of Omid Djahili

A new instrumental sits in the music section, waiting for a vocal line. The inspiration for the lyric is already there in the song title, March To The Sun, and half the melody is in my mind but unfortunately its recording has fallen down in the ladder competition that is my musical agenda. Theoretically I've dealt myself some remix work - two mixes by Wednesday is the key - and so nothing must stand in the way of music for €€€.
Today saw a bit of time with my lovely cream Precision bass for said remix, perfect for that toppy, new wave bass sound. Lucky really, because seeing as I can only really play with a pick I'm never gonna have any deep soul skills. Not of the bass variety anyway.
Other than work, nothing is happening and days seep into each other until they are nearly formless. I've not been outside for more than 10 minutess in the last 3 or 4 days. The clocks changing gave me no improved sleeping routine, in fact it seemed to completely flummox me and I'm now struggling to het some kind of pattern together. I just want to be awake it seems.
I'd like to see some people this weekend. Not for too long, as I don't have time, but a little would go a long way. Let me know.
And it's now almost 2am. Time to try sleeping or, like last night, begin prepping a remix and time stretching audio.
